And remember, MPs prefer to respond to specific cases in their constituencies, rather than points of principle and so forth. So this might be an occasion for Milton Keynes people to Fax Your MP.
And if it turns out to be true that the council in Milton Keynes is willing to openly draw a distinction between sessions and concerts, which allows the former to take place regardless of a lack of a PEL, that in itself is very much worth reporting here. It would be something that ought to be brought to the attention of other councils which refuse to make this distinction. (And MPs and ministers who can't seem to understand it.)
