And it's obvious that the organisers don't live near the coast! I've had a whole cornish pasty removed deftly from my grasp by the most violent seagulls on the south coast of the UK... they live in Sidmouth and are the bastard offspring of a vulture and a ME109. Mind you, it was of such solid construction that they had to drop it three times before the pastry broke! They practice on holiday makers before swarming in for the real feast during Sidmouth Festival. There are times it isn't safe to go out without a stout hat and a packet of wet wipes. When they retire, they go to Hastings.
