some queries about 'for profit public performances'

i'm wondering about church services here

does church organ music for the congregation to sing hymns require a pel?

during communion, there's wine- do they need an alcohol licence?

choirs/congregation singing a capella?

when the offertory comes round & people contribute- could this be defined as profit?

i'm really trying to help the cause by looking for established practices which may be exempt from pels & could therefore be taken as precedents
