LEJ, I had always been "sure" that Arthur Lee wrote "Hey Joe," mostly because the bass player I mentioned earlier (Ken Forssi) told me so. Just to be sure, I just scoured the web and found out first of all that Ken Forssi is no longer alive (he died of brain cancer), and that many people claim to have written the "Hey Joe," among them: Billy Roberts, Arthur Lee, C. Powers, Jimi Hendrix, and Deep Purple. So I don't think I know anymore.
