Hi there, After the first year of my course, I am working for a conservation organisation in Vietnam for a year. I will be based in Hanoi, North Vietnam.

The thing is; what about Folk Music? Does anyone know of a folk scene in Vietnam, or are there any mudcatters out there in Hanoi or further afield?. Will I be the first? I hoping to take numerous tapes and C.D's with me- oh and my anglo concertina which i've been trying to learn to play for a long time.Anyone got any suggestions on how survive without Folk- a long way from home.
