In light of recent US Memorial Day and anti-conscription threads, I thought I'd refresh this just to say how one sided the arguments here are...not too many women included in your discussion. We give birth to the entire world, and make up half of it, so I wonder why our opinions aren't solicited when it comes to war, of which we and our children are the most numerous victims?

Interesting to see some non-US points of view expressed here too. Unfortunate there aren't more to balance out the imperial US voices.
