If Philippa et al don't have the time to post translations, they could certainly say so themselves, non? But they haven't; instead I get the impression that they don't care to be helpful to folks who aren't part of their little insider clique. That's their prerogative; I certainly cannot make demands of anyone. But as the Mudcat is a forum where people come to learn, and I am very much interested in Gaelic song, it is frustrating to me when the ones who are in the know want to keep their knowledge to themselves.
