I'm with Clinton and Terry K here. Happens to me about once a year, and I just roll with it. Do something else, read some books, or maybe just do "nothing" at all, like watch TV.

When you get back to it, it'll seem like magic. And don't worry about the callouses, they'll come back in time and, after all, it doesn't hurt that much anyway.
