I'm looking to plan a vacation with a friend sometime in August. I'm in NYC and she's upstate in Binghamton, NY. We're looking for an interesting weekend event/locale no more than a four hour drive from either place. It would be great if this included some type of traditional music event. (but it doesn't have to.) One possibility is the Philadelphia folk festival, but it's not clear yet if we'll both be free that weekend. Does anyone have any other suggestions for intriguing events to attend/places to visit? Thanks. Zhenya
