Jim Dixon makes a good point. Get your affairs in order before something like this happens. Be sure to include whether you want "heroic" measures taken to keep you going. Also, I would suppose, if you put it in writing that you'd want to be kept informed of ALL information, including whether one was terminal or not, that would have to at least be taken into consideration, esp. if one has filed it with their doctor.
