Okay, here's my tuppence worth - one of the overriding feelings about WWII that we in the UK now feel, knowing more of the facts, is one of guilt - that our government didn't do more, and do it sooner. If Hitler had beeen challenged earlier, things may have taken a different course.Also - old saying: "Evil happens when good men do nothing".
We have to do this, sometimes the price has to be paid for the good of all.
