ohmygawd..............

Well, I am honestly overwhelmed here!!! I have had a great couple of days and haven't checked in because we've been doing both some fun stuff and some good work too. Karen is trying to retrain me as a househusband and I gotta' tell ya'.........it's working!!! This has also been one of the best birthday times I have had in many years. Last night we had a great party with steak and scallops and all kinds of good food. The only thing missing was all of you!

I'd like to say how proud I am of all of you! For a year now I have been working hard to assure that Birthday Threads are not boring and meaningless as Joe Offer contends, with everyone saying the same thing and I've encouraged you all to do the same. I was beginning to feel it was an uphill battle and you all didn't get it..........I seem to have been in error on that as this one is certainly not boring! For that and for all the "wishes and greetings," I'd like to say, "Screw you all very much!"

And to Mary who started this, I can now see why you weren't too upset over our missed connections last week since you were already planning this!!! I think you are now a definite "one-up" on me and I shall get even my dear!!!!

My temptation to go through and insult in return all of you who have so thoughtfully posted is great, but I'll refrain from it........Y'all would know it was just my lame way of attempting at saying how much you folks mean to me....and no words can say that. Take a virtual hug, a BIG Spaw hug and know that I truly do feel blessed to be a part of this community.

I need to tell you about my wonderful birthday present and then get ready to go out this afternoon. We were able to acquire another Blue Longhair Weimaraner. Anyone who knows me well, knows how important they are and how much I love these dogs. Her name is Sissy although she answers to Macy as well. She is a beautiful girl, now 5 years old, that her first owners could not keep. We picked her up last weekend and she and Jaeger are already old friends. It's as though they've been living together for years and both are absolutely great hounds! AS I type, I now have TWO weird looking Weimaraners at my feet instead of one and when they're out together, they get a lot of comments. Look on THIS PAGE for a picture labeled MACY. Kat has a pic of the two of them, but I haven't found another album source yet so I can't show you the two of them together.......Suffice it to say, they are a beautifully matched pair in personality as well as looks. I haven't felt quite this "joyous" in a long time. Great personalities, great companions.....Love my Weimaraners!!!!!

So again, let me say that you can Kiss My Ass.....and thanks. This year it REALLY does mean a lot.
