Hi Weasle

Yes anyone can go to the workshop. However it is going to be set up for beginners with things like holding the stick (I'm sure there's a technical name for it which Mary will know), how to do different rolls and strokes, using the different areas of the instrument for different sounds etc etc. And yes you do have to bring your own bodhrĂ n for two reasons, 1 - you are always more comfortable with your own instrument and 2 - Mary only has two!

Hope this helps.

Hi Chris

No we are nothing to do with the charity Outsider though we do do charity gigs/concerts. Our name came from the idea that our music should be slightly different to the usual so we do three-part harmony and select and arrange all our material to be different from what others are doing. The reason for this is that Phil is great at choosing and arranging material, Mary is a terrific percussionist and harmonist and me, well I'll sing with passion till the cows come home!
