Last time I was "moved on", I asked the WPC if I was breaking any laws. She confirmed that I wasn't, and that she was only asking me to move because of her Chief Superintendant's policy of "no beggars and no buskers" on the streets of Wigan. That said, it was midweek and I happened to be the only busker in town that day. On weekends when there are loads of buskers, we are generally left alone.
