In southwestern Ontario it's damp and overcast, though the rain is holding off. About 13 to 15 C degrees. It's dry enough to allow the brick restoration to continue on the church next door, but wet enough to prevent the armies of lawnmowers from contributing to the noise pollution. The window boxes, freshly (and late) planted will benefit from the impending rain, as will the rest of the garden. Just 1km or so from Lake Huron, sometimes the nasty weather passes over us and lands inland a bit, but not today it seems. I think I'll stay in and listen to the World Cup Soccer, pick some mandolin, and do the laundry.

All in all, a fine day for weather.
