EJ/Nicole: I've heard the same thing, but have yet to come up with an effective way of explaining to a youth orchestra of 8-10yr old kids that it's okay to spit....or at least an explanation that won't be followed by "haraaach-ptooey.....But you said...." and legions of kids trying to 'help each other clean up their act'.
