Thanks, all!
I wasn't really trying to slip anything by anyone. When I stopped wishing for a bike for my Birthday, some of the mystery went out of the day.
Yes, we just got back from a wonderful time singing at FSGW, renewing some old friendships and meeting some new-to-me Mudcatters. We had a great time with Fortunato and Susette, The president and his wife (not the OTHER president with a "w" as a middle initial) and a Handful Of Mudcatters. Not nearly enough time to sit around and swap songs, although my wife and I were honored with a mini-concert by Chance and Susette this morning and then had a chance to sit around over a sumptuous brunch at the President and First Lady's house (not the one with the "w" for a middle initial) and swap some songs with a few old and new friends.
As the Lettermen sang, "See you in September." My wife and I will be coming back down to D.C. while I do a house concert and will hopefull have more time to just sit around and sing and play some music. Great people in D.C.!!! A special thanks to Chance and Susette, Dennis and Judy!

Next timeNot nearly enough time, but we'll correct that when I come down to do a house concert in D.C. in September.
