I'm going to be in the UK from August 11 to August 31, which I suppose is the time most tourists choose. I have lodging with Dick & Susan during Whitby Folk Week, August 17-23, but I'm looking for suggestions for what to do with the rest of my time there. The only other thing I have on my agenda is that I promised to visit Bill Sables. I imagine I'll look up some other Mudcatters along the way.

I'm plan to use public transportation to get around. I'm hoping to pick two or three places to stay and use for centers for exploration. I'd like ot spend as much as a week in London, buit I suppose that could be expensive. can anybody recommend lodging in London that might work for me?
