Strictly speaking you're probably breaking the law making music in the pub anyway, if you're in England or Wales that is...And I thought it was sixteen when you were allowed in the pub but not allowed to drink. (Though insofar as I can remember being 17 I'd been drinking in pubs for some time by then.)

If you're in the UK what you can legally do at 17 and not before is drive a car. (Mind I think they should stick the limit up a bit. I think 35 would be about right.)
