G'day again,

I should not post from work ... without checking the texts! I have slandered Chauncy (Chancellor John) Olcott by accusing him of beimg a Pom ... he was actually New York born (I was confusing him with ... er ... well I was confusing someone!). Anyway, it turns out the the tune Rossa's Farewell to Erin is not the one to Farewell to Greta that reminded me of Irish Eyes ... ... that is another collected tune ... in 4/4, but with similar melodic structure.

Ideed, I would have worked that out ... if I bothered to read my own post - 10 entries (and 3½ years) back.

Sorry Percustard - that seems to limit the excuses for manipulation of all those tunes into a Tursacan confection ...
