We were on the performers' campsite and I regret to say that after we returned home we noticed that someone had attempted to break into our car. Central locking via a zapper but someone had tried to break into the only door actually with a keyhole. Thankfully they did not succeed and therefore did not make off with our instruments, which were hidden from view. Perhaps the lowlife had worked out that performers might have instruments worth nicking? I'm not suggesting this is peculiar to Middlewich - a lovely and friendly festival with lots for the folkie and non-folkie alike. But be vigilant and careful!
