As Bobert noted, the actual grounds are the mansion lands of an uncle of George Washington, with another mansion (it's twin) built on the opposite hillock. It's also located some 10 miles from Shepherdstown, WV (Navel of the Universe, Cultural Hub of the Western Hemisphere, etc.)
