It's like television channels; we're all on channel 5 and he's on channel 7. He probably doesn't care about anything other than writing good stuff because he's always writing all the time. He's the guy in the tan raincoat in the corner of the studio shuffling around little pieces of paper with verses and chorii on them talking to himself, oblivious to the rest of the world. A lot of musicians who aim at fame and fortune find it and then there's nothing more to do and they self destruct. He's probably one of those people who has set his sights on something he can't see, that way he'll always be looking for it, always be writing, entertaining himself and all the rest of us in the process.
