Firstly, I'll follow up the leads you've given me and report back.
I did find some stuff via The Clip Art Searcher, but like you said Bat Goddess, the resolution for printing out was NOT good!! And if you think "people playing instruments" are hard to find - try finding "singers"!!! (esp. if you'd rather not use cartoon children ...)
Being down under in Oz (and without a credit card), also adds to the difficulties it seems.
