I think it would be closer to the truth to say that those terrorists who see themselves as engaging in jihad against us and for the cause of Allah (God) see us as not so much Christians, as Satanists. Remember the Ayatollah Khomeini's characterization of the United States as "the Great Satan". Now, it's true that "Satan" doesn't mean the same sort of thing for most Muslims that it does for many Christians... but still...
