Well, I do remember at the Essex Folk Festival 1968 (or 1969) held in a marquee behind a pub in Collier Row, Dave and Toni Arthur sang a song which they said would raise the wind - and it did ! (No, it wasn't *that* kind of wind) - the whole tent suddenly billowed and nearly blew away. "Guest- Peter from Essex" was there and, I think, probably Pavane, who will verify this, if they read it.I've heard that there's a Macbeth-like effect from the song "Long Lankin". Not surprisingly.
