Mickey191,I'm hoping that the teenage sister does a bit of homework on the Lorena Bobbitt do-it-yourself method and then has a practice session on her brother. Well, at the very least, she should try it out with a rusty knife, preferably saw toothed, on the jury. After a bit of practice she may be able to do it more humanely (???) on her brother. (wicked grin)
I'm too gobsmacked by that news article to even try to go into the complexities of it all. It opens a panorama of ethical, social and moral issues for me.
And then there is the story in this week's New Scientist about wives in India being horribly burnt, often fatally, so that the husband can keep the dowry. And it's happening to about 25,000 women per year, and the husbands are getting away with it.
Does it never end?
