How I empathise Allan! I had tuner with a suction pad that you use to stick it to the guitar. I stuck it to my O10 and it fell off. As it fell it put three dents in the top above the soundhole.I traded my O10 for a brand-new O25 and stoopidly used that crap tuner on it in the first week. Yep, you guessed - more dents on my new O25! Worse was to come. I got a small mark on it below the soundhole which I thought I could reduce by rubbing it hard with a damp cloth. Took the polish right off, so now it has a bare patch about the size of your thumbnail. F*****g Hell! Still sounds fantastic though!
Seriously, if you're wittered by scratches, take it to a good (repeat GOOD) repair man - he'll know all the tricks. Failing that, if it's a bad mark, have a talk to the sales guy at Lowden about having it re-finished at the factory. DO NOT try to doctor it yourself like I did.
