Mudchuck and UB Ed, you have my sympathy. Perhaps we should set a support group for us people with post traumatic scratch syndrome! Anyway, it looks like theres no easy and cheap fix so I might as well get on with collecting a few more scratches and then I'll be as relaxed as I am about my other guitars. Cheers all
