A year ago, I shipped my Taylor from Florida to Maine by U.P.S. truck. Some ape dropped it, and did some slight damage, but, my local music store owner/luthier, says it wont effect the value. I don't care about value because I don't intend to sell it, and, I dont really mind the slight damage. What I DO mind is the creep who should be selling anvils, not handling instruments. I know three Collings owners, only one ,Midchuck, allows me to play his. The other two are really anal about letting anyone play their baby.
