Well, danged. No make that doubledanged just fir good measure. Yep, tomorrow at this time I'll be stuffin' my ol' boney hillbilly butt into my beat up Toyota and pointin' it in the general direction of Elkins, Wes Ginny for *BLUES WEEK*! Sorry, didn't mean to raise my voice there. Yep, got all my gear, my ol' Martin, my ResoTweedonator steelie, my Gibson tenor, my vitaimins, ear plugs, portable fan, a few changes of BVD's and "297 feet of rope", if'nz ya; sniffin' my drift.

And the best part of it, other then seeing old friends and learnin' a few new Delta licks, is that Iz gonna be able to work with mah main man, Col. James "Sparkey" Rucker, *and* Corey Harris! Yep, just got the schedule and its gonna work out just fine.

And the butt whoppins I got here last month won't compare to the ones Iz gonna get down in the mountains, but a little humility ain't a bad thing, no sir... Yeah, I'm going from being a big fish in a small pond to a little fish in a big pond...

And, SharonA, can I have some of that "turkey" scrapple tomorrow morning before I leave? Iz been good! Ask my poor fingers, they'll tell ya...
