Notice how everyone wants to take a nap after a big turkey dinner? I can't remember the details, but apparently there is something in turkey which really does help to induce sleepiness, though I agree it should be at least 2-3 hours before going to bed.

I got out of whack when we were going through housebuying, new job, and living in two states and the doc put me on trazadone at night. It really helped. I also find certain types of music and/or radio works well, too.

Some experts say not to read in bed, but that's one habit I will not give up...though I guess it could be one reason all of my family seem to have problems with insomnia...hard to put a good book down!
