What kind of folk/trad music are you most interested in? If you like Irish, there's the Sunday night session at the Starry Plough Irish Pub in Berkeley, across the bay from San Francisco. Riggy, P.J., and myself are regulars there. August 6th (which might be too early for you) there is a chantey sing aboard a schooner in San Francisco, where me, Melani, Radriano, Toadfrog, and Riggy can be found. It's also across the street from the aforementioned Lark In The Morning store. For blues, the newspaper San Francisco Chronicle has club listings.
