The August and October dates are both wrong. I've just found a facsimile of the relevant page of Sharp's notebook on my bookshelf(in Bob Pegg's excellent "Folk" book). It is a little illegible and blotted unfortunately, but it seems to be Sep 11(or possibly 14 or19).
