Well I jumped on the Mudcat late last night,

Just to catch up with my friends,

There were threads there without end!

I had to read every thread fom A to Zed

Some were serious and some were just a joke.

But every body was there, just a-lettin down their hair,

Those Free-thinkin' Mudcattin' Phoak!

(there was) Allan C, Andy G, Banjeray and bbc, Doctor John, Dai and Cara

Now I sometimes dream how easy it would seem

If the whole world could act this way-

We could all get along with a smile and a song
