All I ever got out of Mudcat was being hugged by Big Mick (there are those who would kill for this opportunity, I know).....
He exaggerates. I don't anyone in Toronto who just says "hello" out of nowhere to strangers, unless they happen to be the cash-and-carry lady Mick met at his motel and about whom he gave us an airbrushed anecdote......

Mick understates the amazing bunch of people around the patio furniture on Saturday -- of which he was no mean member -- la creme de la creme. The real Toronto (and much of Canada) stringleaders. Plus Jed. It was pretty cool......
