In my younger days I did a short stint as a production assistant for a studio that did photography for catalogues and stuff. My first day on the job, the photographer I was working with (Jim) told me to "Go ask Earl (darkroom guy) for the 'paper stretcher'". Earl told me he would give me the paper stretcher, but first I had to go get the 'henway' from Jim. When I asked Jim "what's a henway", he said, "Oh, about four pounds".
