The Armstrongs were dear friends and I do miss them a ton. You are correct about Gerry. I recently went back and re-read the thread that was here when Gerry passed on. They were the first in America to record "SIMPLE GIFTS"----on their LP for Folkways with that as the title. I feel that is the PERFECT song for these sad times we are living in:
