I have been praying hard for Cats. I'm still having a hard time imagining him not being able to speak- I imagine he'll be making up for lost time in a few days. In the meantime, I am going to visualize sitting at breakfast with him, the waitress serving us up big plates of biscuits, country ham, red eye gravy, black coffee and all the other wonderful country cuisine that Karen and the Doctors will never let him eat again. But I've got a strong feeling that that old boy is feeling well enough by now to know he's damned hungry. Unfortunately it'll be jello ,chicken broth and ginger ale for a while. Anyway, maybe my intense visualization of that breakfast at Thelma's Cafe will get to him and alleviate some of those hunger pangs.
