well, I had one of the closed ones, but since I am tall & thin and NOT claustrophobic, it didn't bother me...except for HURTING like hell 'cause my neck was getting the scan, and they put it in the worst possible position for MY comfort to get the images they needed.

But it WAS loud and I am glad the hear there is an 'open' one...if I ever do that again, I'm gonna ask...
