Mrrzy,

It looks to me that there is a line missing from your version of "Knees Up Mother Brown" In the DT "KUMB" is

Oh, knees up Mother Brown,
Knees up Mother Brown,
Come along, dearie, let it go
E-I-E-I-E-I-Oh!
It's your blooming birthday
Let's wake up all the town;
So knees up, knees up
Don't get the breeze up
Knees up Mother Brown!

However, the version I grew up with[1] is:

Knees up Mother Brown,
Knees up Mother Brown,
Under the table you must go
E-I-E-I-E-I-O!
If I catch you bending
I'll saw your legs right off;
So knees up, knees up
Never get the breeze up
Knees up Mother Brown! [2]

Usually followed by a chorus of:

Oh my, What a rotten song
What a rotten song
What a rotten song
Oh my, What a rotten song
And what a rotten singer too.

The DT version was also used, but not as frequently by my mob.
