Welcome aboard. I'm in Boulder, and one of our neighboring towns is spelled Louisville, pronounced (are you ready for this?) Loo-iss-ville --as though it were spelled Lewisville. It's a coal mine town (there was a vein of coal that ran through, and was the reason for, several towns on the eastern plain of Colorado).
