We got hit here in my office last week.

It's LAN-aware - doesn't even need network drive mappings. Just uses any open shares on the network.

A symptom we noted here was that some documents or program screens appeared blank. It appears to hit TTF files.

If you get anything like that, get your virus scanners running fast as you can.
