Also as I recall it from memory, the songs in Broadside Mag were said to have come from "The Glasgow Song Guild". Was that an umbrella organization at the time? In Chicago, later on, we had an organization called "Aural Tradition" at the same time that MANY of us were involved in putting together Emily Friedman's (the editor) magazine called COME FOR TO SING.
You writers and singers over there kept our focus in the U.S. on the dangers of nuclear globalized proliferation. I, for one, have always been impressed.
At this late date, as I observe my youthly zeal diminished from what it was (in so many ways), I need to thank you folks, again, for doing that then as well as now.
