I'm looking for the words and some history if anyone knows it for a song about a red haired tinker main who weds a farmer, and it ends tragically.
The verse about the woman goes:

The sun shown on her red, red hair,
And in her eyes there were stars of mirth
Her body held the willow's grace;
Her feet scarse touched the springing earth
