The song is "The Tinkerman's Daughter". There are basically two versions of it around. The oringinal (by Kerry Poet Sigerson Clifford) is very long and very tragic. The other , by Mickey McConnel, is not so long and not so tragic! A quick look in the Digital Tradition Database shows the short version only.
