sounds like he is making good progress- these days there are amazing therapies available. my dad had a stroke 15 years ago-- which side was affected, do you know?' right side of brain = left side of body and visa versa... stroke can be caused by either a blockage of blood or an excess of blood to a part of the brain- hope they have determined the cause and have offerd treatment accordingly... if he is sitting up and eating that is good- sometimes swallowing is difficult. a Cardio Vascular Accident (CVA) on the left side may affect (effect?) the right limbs and speech. the right side may cause reaction in the left limbs and/or vision--hope he is recovering well. Kat says there is a tape of his music?? what type of music ?? I recently found an old 78 of my dad singing 60 years ago.. a special treasure because he was not able to speak or sing for the last 15 years. he passed away this spring. best wished for good re-hab and hope you find your way there soon.
