Masato, I checked in a terrific book called Ev'ry Time I Feel the Spirit, but Gwendolyn Sims Warren. The book has exactly the same lyrics you posted, with the exception of one word in the fourth verse. Can you double-check your sources and see if they really do say "confession"?
