In reply to McGrath and creep a little further on this thread, I had a small restaurant for some 10 years where as well as food (customers were mainly tourists and holidaymakers) I also sold CDs of local artists. I played them while people ate (at a suitable volume ) and it was a very successful side-line. Among the artistes whose recordings I "stocked" were Liam Clancy, Bobby Clancy, Aoife Clancy, Traditional band "Danu", The Butterfly Band, Two-Time Polka (as mentioned in an earlier posting) Ray Barron and Hank Wedel and Brian O'Reilly and Loudest Whisper, all were pleasantly surprised by the extra sales. PS I just wonder if McG was ever in the town of Borris, Co.Carlow where one of the last "General Stores cum Pub" still flourishes or in Miss Nugents in Kiledmond, same county, a smaller version of the same type of establishment?
