If you want to get an idea how long it takes you to get TO Mudcat, you can try tracing the route. In Windows, go to Start, select Run and type "tracert www.mudcat.org" (without quotation marks). I find that this usually shows me I get hung up somewhere along the way unless Mudcat is down or is in the process of going down.
